Ara is a passionate ceramic artist with over 20 years of experience. Originally from Spain, her journey in ceramics began in London, where she immersed herself in the world of clay and creativity. Ara and her family then moved back to her country, where she continued to explore ceramics, influenced by the rich culture and ceramic tradition of her homeland.

In 2014, Ara and her family relocated to New Zealand. Here, she graduated with a Diploma in Arts and Design (Level 5), from Otago Polytechnic, specialising in ceramics. Ara's goal is to share her passion for ceramics with others and offer exciting and enriching classes.

Ara believes in a creative and respectful learning environment, where students can explore their creativity at their own pace. She looks forward to welcoming you to her classes and embarking on a journey full of clay and creativity together!
